Hi guys
I have a blog website and I want to shut it down because it don't get enough traffic and there are millions of website to compete with . websites are waste of time and money in my opinion . you will get more viewers If you run a facebook page

No . I don't mean that . I mean it's waste of time to make a site that has million of competitors . if you create a website with unique idea and content ,you might get traffic . it's not simple
it's useless to open restaurant in street full of big restaurants

Is your site any good, truly? If it's useful and/or interesting to more than you, then you should find someone to take it over.
If you knocked it together thinking you'd some quick cash, you're 20 years too late.
Depending on what you are writing/blogging about. Not necessarily yours isn't useful, could be weak in SEO, awareness and etc. Writing in medium, e27, Linkedin, Facebook Page/Group seems to have quick win but I would say at least for a period of time.
Look at how many of us here using LET (classic forum interface, and just another forum) most youngsters might have thought complete opposite.. we are wasting our time in these kind of old forums when they don't realise the beauty of those.
