not only vmhaus...but other providers i had in UK within Clouvider networks too..
Died at the same time..
Not related to VMHaus, we also have issues atm.
maybe Clouvider Competitor little bit jealous cause of massive sales, LOL
Their LAX location seems to be unaffected. (seems to be a problem with Clouvider?)
Yep I can confirm, its just an intermittent issue within the Clouvider DC.
Well aren't you a charming lad?
I can confirm we had planned emergency window at one of the datacentres. Sorry about any inconvenience caused :-(
I sent them a really long Sales related question several months ago. They never responded, oh well
The blip was about 37-38m
Yesterday I showed Clouvider some routing issues in Asia. He improved it dramatically and now the latency to that locations is lower than competitors I compared with. Great DC!
That's too bad VMHaus are no more. It is a tough industry.
You must know something I don’t then ?
I thought people said they deadpooled. Maybe I confused it with another company. Haven't slept. :"P
Looks like they're fine so NVM.
What's up with them? I see a lot of people complaining. I know they were new to the game but it looked like a solid company with a great panel.
Excuse my ignorance. Been off the grid for a while
Long story. Let's say an abrupt change of management.
If you have the time: https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/153167/vmhaus-back-up-your-data-now
Thanks. I'll save that for a bathroom break
Welcome back.
Yeah, there was/is a lot of drama surrounding VMHaus.
Thanks. Good to be back as well! The LET 'vibe' is something I missed actually.
Way to much to catch up to. Also spotted something about vmbox. They better not screw up that company as my box with them has been serving me well for years.
I think the title of this thread should be change because the issue wasn't just limited to VMHaus and this issue was out of their hands?
Done!
Too much cider @ blackfriday, I see.
Ha! Too much memory leak - that’s why we had a scheduled maintainance window to fix it in a controlled manner, late overnight, when the impact was minimal so it doesn’t blow up mids Cyber Monday and screws with everyone sales ;-)
Any impact is of course regretful :-(
@Clouvider is so British that even his emergencies are planned.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
They planned an emergency?
When you have to go, you just have to go.
I can’t imagine the number of notifications you’ll wake up to in just 2 days ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Half way home and my pager still blowin up.
Pagers are still a thing?
at least for people that are also into old printers and other kind of retro... stuff. ;-)
All in all it looks like I just had 20 minutes of downtime. Not too bad. Everyone needs a real world test to their backup plans every now and then
