  • It's something that I wrote in perl to monitor my DNS, web, and mail servers after my Observium dust up with Delimiter back in 2014 related to this thread

    does anyone else have a problem with new os installation, when you try to log in to root for the first time and the password is always wrong, even though i copy and paste directly from the virmach control panel. I am not sure its a virmach problem thats why i didnt open a ticket and asked here first

    I always click thru from the client area to the VPS Control Panel (SolusVM) and reinstall from there. I have reinstalled eight servers in the last week or so and never had a problem with the password doing it that way.

  • So my First Alpha Spaceship Ascension feedback:
    On node: ...Z002

    VNC doesn't work/connect from either client area or from solus for any of of my attempts.

    I started by taking the client area templates from bottom upwards.
    (reboot, reconfigure network, shutdown, turn on, etc. had no effect)

      ping = YES ; VNC=NO ; SSH = NO

    2. FAILED - Linux Ubuntu 16.04 Server X86 64 Minimal Latest

    Updated and upgraded Ubuntu 14.04 up to Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS

    Then the first YABS results:

  • So quiet

  • Sorry, I was busy making and feeding a new VirMach customer! Did you know new VirMach customers have to be fed every 2-3 hours, 24 hours a day?! Also they are very sleepy except when they are crying!

  • Hey @Virmach? I asked before the flash sale but did you ever issue me a prize? I don’t think anything changed here but I also can’t remember if I sent in my affiliate ID…. Sorry :(

  • @VirMach
    Does the Ryzen alpha server already have a mechanism to detect (and stop) resource abuses?

  • Something that still confuses me: Why is the Black Friday 2018 thread the one that keeps getting bumped even though there's newer VirMach Black Friday threads? lol

  • 2018 deals were the best?
