I already have the virmach VPS that is not idle. It's best to take advantage of Virmach's silence to avoid unnecessary spending on idle VPS's.
People actually buy VirMach VPS for anything else other than idle? :O
On a serious note, as far as we like Black Friday, don't forget that's the time we need to pay our bill for another year too.

hmmm ... I like to think there may be something to that idea.
And yet, I'm also fond of saying: Virmach is for Idlers™
though of course that's not necessarily true (since they offer option to pay for more CPU when necessary)
anyway, seems like the forum's recent downtime may be entirely due to human factors and software rather than hardware and network ... so really not sure how much Virmach would be able to help with that. Now I'm wondering how's Virmach's DDos game anyway? Is that something they do?

Was mostly joking on the fact that it's will be on CC network anyway. From my point of view, it's don't make sense to idle server if you never use them at all. I have many idle server too. 80% of them is probably idle ( or part of bot network as I have like 10 NAT vps not monitored).
I'm always having nightmares that, come renewal time, we find out that all of the freebies and easter-egg VPS we got during last year's BF/CM were only (recurringly) discounted for one year, and by November we need to pay the full price already.
Honestly, I find it amusing.
