Not a great tactic @VirMach
This was the EU deal requested by someone above. You're free to request your own; if I missed it please point me to your post where you specified your desires.
I think you need to complete the purchase after 1 min mark.
Less than 3 clicks per 1 minute
Basically, it is only 2 steps within 1 minute
The third click has to be after 1 min
I prefer these two vps too, but failed to check out.
$9.00 /yr

...For your own protection. At least that is what they tell me.
We'll rotate back to this deal. The limits have been loosened. We just need to find the right spot for everyone being able to check out smoothly versus the site going down, that's all. I'm all ears.
First two clicks I agree, then you were redirected to order page (so another click for webserver) and they you wanted to add to cart - so another click for webserver.
4 clicks, ban ;<
So what's the rules now...one click to order...one click to chose os......click acknowdege no refundone...click to add to cart....wait till minute's up...click submit?
All done and PMed to @VirMach
I'm thinking servers and personnel stressed alike..
Does this mean it'll be two exactly same deals one after the other? Or two consecutive deals that's slightly different from each other?
What is the new rule? Please spell it out.
I think 2 clicks per 30 sec is good?
I think everyone misunderstood how it works, unless CF is counting requests differently or incorrectly. You're supposed to space out each step and checkout within 3-4 minutes, one step at a time.
This keeps the load down and you'll have enough time to complete your order because of the grace period.
True.
But using this way, you follow a company over customer policy - which is also not right.
You have the follow the middle line.
You could reconsider your red ended button when it comes to limit. Looping us through a captcha that once is solved and webpage refreshed, the deal is over, is dodgy.
Let's leave it vague... don't give the scripters any ideas!?
@VirMach
Thanks for the EU deal which was exactly as I requested.
Unfortunately I could not order.
I have ONE browser Window on my mobile phone and went through the process ONCE -> got banned.
came back 30 sec later -> went into the captcha/OS selector cycle and stayed there.
Then I fired up my laptop in a laboratory WiFi (= totally seperate IP) and guess what -> SAME problem. And that machine has been off for hours, and in that WiFi / IP there's definitely no one else trying to order from you.
So now it's gone.
Do you receive any orders at all?
How is this supposed to work?
Your security seems to be a bit tight.
As I stated initially, one minute per step should be a good level for you not to get blocked and complete your order smoothly. Add to cart, wait. Proceed to checkout, wait. Make payment.
This deal which was not long ago but for EU?
$10.00 /yr
VIRTUALIZATION KVM – 1 GIGABIT
RAM 2048MB RAM
CPU 2x FAIR SHARE CPU vCORE
HDD 15GB SSD (RAID 10)
BANDWIDTH 750GB BANDWIDTH
LOCATION LOS ANGELES, CA LOCATION
IPs 1 DEDICATED IPv4
I think everyone is scared that if they don't try to complete it fast enough it'll get emptied...like my last few...
As I've stated above we've loosened it and will rotate back to that offer.
Ah I understand:
the ban is not supposed to hit (as I suspected) if you have concurrent sessions trying to order / multiple quickly after each other..
...but checks ALL activity from my IP.
So I will need to split the order process into 1-minute-per-step-batches?
Honestly, that was not clear to me.
The cart will only be emptied if (1) we run out of stock or (2) we run out of time. We haven't ran out of stock for most these deals so it's #2 causing the issues. If everyone checks out in a normal and calm manner, they will not be blocked, the server will not have issues, so you will be able to check out before the time runs out.
I see smooth orders for the current offer, so hopefully it'll work out.
Oh, well, lets see: exactly the same behavior here
Anyone got this guys? Lets confirm if its a real one.
