Why do you say this? In his opening post, @key900 says "Custom ISO available." I think that you have to open a ticket for a custom ISO.

How exactly test the BBox ? it limtied to 100MB/s which enough, the network it capped to 100Mbps to avoid flooding you can hit ticket for both iso and network speed we will take alook i'm not sure were you got 200KB/s ?

it can be missed in the setup , You know we pretty busy at the moment so just hit ticket we will handle it for you.

Yeah, I also put a URL for an ISO in the order form, but this didn't work. I suspect that it requires manual intervention in any case.

The best thing to do is to open a ticket for a custom ISO.

    Pack1. nice for the price.

I double checked Thanks for reporting this. The ( Write throughput to Ceph 55 MB/s ), Your VPS were configured at different pool which not supposed to be, i don't know what your VPS is but this report give us attention to check everyone and yes Your Block Storage configured at NFS which not should be it only for remotely ISO . we will migrated everyone who configured at this pool and any new Block will at the right one.

1 - Speedtest i wouldn't recommended The problem is the software you are using to test. SPEED-TEST is not a program you would wanna use to test speeds because the speeds are base on where you are pulling from. This is why you get different speeds per location. Look we are LA network and you did test with ""Hosted by CenturyLink, Inc (Cheyenne, WY) ""

SPeed-Test is not good to test connection problems because the speeds are base on local machine load, resources, source, and capacity both ends allow. This is why for networking most places won't relied speedtest as solid proof to slow network issues.

    Here's what they can do,

The network rate i mentioned was listed in
Portal Home / Client Area / My Products & Services / Product Details / Server Information
    Network Rate 100 MB/s (800 Mbps)
I know it is not important for real use, just curious how the value came from.

For receiving 200KB/s traffic, multicast and arp which the interface does not belong to. Aren't there some misdirection on the router side? The traffic is also displayed in the network graph (it says 190KB/s) of the server information.

Does anything need to be done for this to take effect? A quick dd test for me:
    NVMe: 1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 2.04817 s, 524 MB/s
    Block storage: 1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 28.0334 s, 38.3 MB/s

Did you have any data on the Block Storage? if you don't just re-add it again it will be fixed! I can see there is like 15 people at wrong place! we working into it one by one.

I loaded about 100GB onto it. If it is possible to fix without deleting and re-adding, that would be better, even if it takes a day or two for it to happen.

However, I can re-create and re-copy the data instead if you prefer. Thanks for the reply.

  • Recreated vdb. Got ~100MB/s write.

    dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/vdb bs=1M count=1K
    1024+0 records in
    1024+0 records out
    1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB, 1.0 GiB) copied, 10.4826 s, 102 MB/s

  • @key900 sorry for newbie question.

Does it mean we all receive 30gb nvme + 256GB HDD space also to store data?

I got you it’s Cluster private connection there is no effect on your VPs after all. And the 800Mbps thing will be fixed as soon as possible

Yes NVMe as main Disk and Block Storage as second Disk and can be used for anything you want to!

    Thanks

Why do you think that anyone is interested in your order number on the fourth day of the sale?

I now realize that his order was rejected and he wanted help.

I thought that he gave his order number because he imagined that his order was among the first ten orders (i.e., he wanted the credit).

(My apology to @arest for reacting too quickly.)

  • Got a Pack1 yesterday, setup today. Excellent experience, everything works exactly as expected. Well done @key900 :)
