I am committed to take all the doubts, and to find the best lodging for Storage Online
Any other important tests?
They limit once you have used rsync or the protocole you are using for "x" time, for example, if you have been using it for an hour they set "x" limits, 2 hours, they increase the limits.
Check Acceptable Usable Policy for VPS providers, this is Virmarch:
D) High Usage Policy: Any usage by Customer that disrupts the overall performance of our server(s) is not permitted. Customer agrees to operate within the VirMach usage parameters, which are as follows:
When I was with them I had to backup a 3TB server, it could only backup for 3-4 hours then the server went down, I had to restart and keep the process, took 2 days to do all work, of course as I use incremental backups that only happened those days, daily backups then worked like charm but I was scared it could happen in case I needed to do a bulk restore so I decided to get a SYS Storage Plan
It doesn't make sense to test for a short period of time. When you do a long-term similar operation which is common while making back-up, then you will receive a email from virmach.
I dont have any experience with Hostens, so I dont know how they deal with it.
@desfire
Thanks for the alert
Where are you hosting your backups?
@Creling
Thanks for the alert
I'll also check with Hostens
Return Hostens
However, if a user uses the CPU at 100% and it actually causes performance issues, our system will limit the overall CPU usage to a lower percentage for a specific server.
Can I use CPU100 all the time
If you just upload your files to the back-up server but not download them oftern, I sincerely recommend online-C14 to you, you can get 2 EUR for 1TB(https://console.online.net/en/order/c14)
And, whether you download oftern or not, you can get up to 5 EUR for 1TB in Online, the only thing you should consider is the network from Online to your city I think.
-online.net-
Your safe is created, you can now upload your archives. Each archive is limited to a maximum size of 40TB C14 supports** FTP, SFTP, RSYNC SCP and WEBDAV protocols**.
Veeam Backup Accepts, NFS (SSH), SMB / CIFS.
I do not know if it works in online.net
Well, sorry, I didnt notice
NFS (SSH), SMB / CIFS.
, C14 seems not support it,then I well recommend Letbox in Los Angeles instead, you can get 1TB for $7. @key900 .
Its performance is good, I used it to set my personal Cloud disk,
Performance will double as we announced the cpu will be upgraded today.

$18/m ?
We have different models of storage VPs
Main Disk NVMe + free Block Storage attached with Tripe replicating of data
http://letbox.com/page/block
NVMe Triple Replicating with High availability’s (VE High Availability Cluster (VE HA Cluster) enables the definition of high available virtual machines. In simple words, if a virtual machine (VM) is configured as HA and the physical host fails, the VM is automatically restarted on one of the remaining VE Cluster nodes) and Block Storage can be attached for small fee

Normal local KVM and Block Storage can be attached for small fee

Local storage with raid10

Nice.
But the problem is the low bandwidth limit
I'm almost giving up looking for Storage Cloud.
I need 4vCPU and 4GB RAM with 2TB or more.
I can not find.
Or, an Archive Storage service, but that has SSH / SCP access to mounting point on with Linux
Does anyone indicate?
Well, it capped the connection speed to 10mbit when bandwidth exceeded.
So it really doesn’t matter you can also buy more bandwidth for cheap price. Or there is an other options
http://letbox.com/page/KVM
Take an normal KVM and buy Attached sotrage for extra fee.
You are asking for too much RAM and CPU for a cheap storage vps, not even storage servers have that much
Core i5-2300 (2.8 GHz 4 cores) - 16 GB DDR3 - 1× 2 TB (HDD SATA) 100 Mbps
Unmetered: 23.99€ https://oneprovider.com/order/item/dediconf/2065 (Canada)
You also have 2 x 1TB with 1GBPS for 23€ in France -> https://oneprovider.com/order/item/dediconf/60
You will not find anything that will beat that
I am currently having bottleneck with 1vCPU and 2GB RAM.
Disk Storage 200 IOPS
Varois backups, giving errors
Unmetered: 23.99€ https://oneprovider.com/order/item/dediconf/2065 (Canada)
Good, but this unavailable seems to me
I'm analyzing Contabo
6vCPU - 30GB RAM - 2000GB (SSD-Boosted) - Unlimited Traffic - 19.99 EUR
What do you think?
Are you referring our services?
No, hostens .... my current provider
...
???
anyway. reviews and experiences for contabo seem to differ, some are satisfied, some not.

I would go with a dedicated, storage VPS performance are not quite good.. especially Contaboo
Refresh, it works for me
No, hostens .... my current provider
Problem, is that dedicated storage does not give me NFS access (mount Linux remote drive)
A dedicated server or a VPS will give you whatever access you setup (e.g. NFS, SMB, etc) and I highly recommend you setup this kind of access behind a VPN.
If you are considering dedicated servers in US/Canada you may be interested in Dr Server's (@Radi) latest offer: https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/150416/our-big-storage-14-50-dedicated-is-back-limited-quantity
It seems they are out of stock of the cheapest server but the 16GB model seems to be in stock for $16 after coupon.
Thanks for sharing.
I do not know DrServer. Is it reliable? good?
Is this coupon forever, or only 1 month?
