Comments
5.81$ per month for 512MB is kinda expensive.
More or less already calculated into the price, so I get nothing for free, just a marketing stunt again.
Scalable resources, the QuadraNet Infracloud way, reliability my friend!
You simply pay the first month and we'll credit your account for 2 months of service. Simple, straightforward.
Great offer @dustinc. Congrats on launching the new product :-)
can you do bgp?
That's roughly 5 mins of downtime, per year. or ~ 26 seconds per month.
That's everyones DevOp wet dream.
How do you enforce this? Hope nothing bad happens to my node and if so, you reimburse me for a month/year/whatever period and we're good then?
Or exist any infrastructure particularities that allow this uptime?
I love the cloud jokes.
I would love it more if they can credit 2-month for free BEFORE I pay any.
@dustinc what is new about this product?
Moved thread to offers since it's an offer thread :P
Doesn't seem like much changed in 4 years. Even the pricing is the same :P
Need to understand the competitive landscape and pricing, before offering it. Thanks.
new locations presumably
Same locations are listed in their post from years ago. In fact, it looks like the old offer thread was just copy pasta'd. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but just is strange the same old locations are have a big "UPDATE" and "new" descriptor preceding them
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
To be fair, It's a new post.
You guys are awesome! Many are signing up, and we're handling credits. Happy to have you with us guys.
Good question! With our Infracloud product we cannot, but we have a very competitive offering on an E3 in Miami which we can https://blog.quadranet.com/miami-e3-dedicated-server-sale-20-first-month/ If you order, send in a sales ticket and mention "Dustin said if I'm in the US, send me some QuadraNet goodies"
"Unpaid InfraCloud setup fee found on account."I have already paid for it. What does this sentence mean?
Thank you for signing up -- I actually just credited your account for two months as well as responded to the ticket regarding the deployment.
Thank you for doing business with us, it means a lot
Pricing is good. Not everyone has to beat Digital Ocean and LET hosts.
At least match it. Thanks.
The balance has been added, thank you. But I still can not create a cloud server, prompt me: Unpaid InfraCloud setup fee found on account.
Why ? It’s not like for like service ?
May be I am missing something. It looks similar services.
@dustinc will you do the double credit for the higher packages (orange $12.41/mo and red $20.87/mo)? Or arbitrary credit top-ups up to a certain amount?
I always wondered about these OnApp a la carte hourly offerings -- could I really create an instance with 32 cores, say 4GB of RAM, and minimal local disk? (I honestly just had a CPU-heavy workload last week that fit that profile!)
I suppose the cores (threads, probably) are shared, so they could just throttle me to oblivion....
But it’s not. The devil’s in the details.
The title should be "Two-for-One" instead of "2-Months-FREE".
Is it right?
Yeah, like the fact their drives are HDD instead of SSD. Why are you shilling for them?
You’ll have to try harder, I’m not going to do the research for either of you two.
Your Los Angeles OpenVZ servers sucks. It's becoming slower day by day.
Hello,
We do not offer OpenVZ, sounds as if you're confused. I would say you're simply a customer of one of our customers?
