Cyka, another idiot who obviously can’t read...

I would not call someone idiot for that, just ignorant and/or lazy.

dont worry, you wouldn't have met the requirements anyway :)

but saying you cant do anything else than vpn is pretty naive

  • hjlowhjlow Member

i should have just said "testing python scripts" or something :)

I need somewhere to run a Gitlab CI runner -- if I'm compiling small Java and PHP projects, could I get away with 256MB box?

I was thinking of putting it on my NanoKVM box, but I'm not too sure.

To run Gitlab fine, you need 2GB of memory, try https://gitea.io

Not trying to run a full instance, just a runner that builds and verifies a commit.

If that involves java it will also be a memory and cpu hog.

It involves periode javac use. I haven't measured resource usage of this, hence I'm asking.

r4oZHaazoGwIUvgJxKYGzg2nbyLGK3B2WQ , test nat passthrough, lean dev tests

Last one was rejected I think because of name mismatch.

Note: User name on forum has _ but nano doesn't allow those. So MarkOPolo was used.

Test nat passthrough, lean dev test, and backup/restore testing.

Also when did Finland add another n. I missed that in world history.

    Thanks!!!

  • The panel says my VM is running, but I don't have any means to connect to it, and the panel surely doesn't help.

Am I missing something or is this normal?

Just because the VM is free doesn't mean you get to connect to it too.

I think it's hosted on Host Solutions, so let's hope there's no fscking on dedicated servers too.

I’m working on a small GeoDNS project. So far I have 9 web servers and 2 DNS servers around the globe. Server in Finland would allow me to route traffic around Balic sea way better. The project is in working stage. You can check it out at dnso.ml. You should be redirected to different server based on MaxMind GeoIP.

No, it's $5 per connection, not $5 one time fee to connect to it.
