REQUEST > Unlimited Traffic Server - 1/10Gbps+
Hey there.
In need of a server which is able to push 10TB+ of HTTP traffic on a daily basis.
Screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/cUzP1zL.png
The server can be shared or dedicated. Here's the current specs I'm going with:
Note: this is a VPS!
- 6 Xeon vCores
- 12GB Mem
- 2x 6TB HDD
- 10Gbps, Shared with 7 clients
- Unlimited Traffic
- 160€/mth
If someone is able to provide a server with similar or better specs let me know. I need a 1Gbps line, preferrably 10Gbps. If the line is 1Gbps I'd prefer it not to be shared.

You forgot a 0 in your budget.
Does the location matter? OneProvider seems to have quite a few locations that offer unlimited @ 1 Gbps and may be worth a try for you.
The server is a VPS and the network is shared. Price is completely sane.
EU if possible.
OneProvider has caps on it speed wise. It might be unlimited at 1Gbps but you need to limit it to 250Mbps or they get pissy.
OVH w/ premium bandwidth upgrade would be my suggestion for guaranteed gigabit for cheap.
Since you don't seem to need unmetered with about 10TB bandwidth only perhaps have a look at our services in London: UK Dedicated Servers
That's per day, not month. So around 300TB/month.
10TB a DAY, not month.
If per day we can still do it, but naturally not below cost. Get your budget to 300 EUR and we can work something out .
What the fuck are you doing that pushes that much data a week?
Maximum I can do is 200, I'm a student and my project is non-profit. Everything is out of my own pocket
The server I'm on has a shared line. That brings the prices down, however the network is still extremely powerful.
And why it pays only as much that the connectivity budget is 160EUR - that bit is interesting.
Web hosting. Serving static data.
The base price for my hosting package is actually below 160€. I have a few unrelated addons bumping the price.
Feel free to pm me for the provider name.
That does not answer the question.
That answes the question perfectly. Static data hosting with nginx. Do you want a link to my website or anything else..?
@Clouvider Based on that config I'm guessing he's with Chmuranet (seedbox provider)
https://chmuranet.com
10Tb a day for a website am guessing its a download or video sharing site.
Not a sharing/social video site
Has something to do with downloads. No illegal content though.
Don't be a sharp shit. You know full well that 40TB a week is abnormal, multinationals with globally viewed websites don't do that kind of traffic in a month, let alone a week.
Last 24h:
My network usage is quite stable. However as you know nothing about my service I understand your corcerns.
Why be so misterious about your "static data", why are you not being a tad bit clearer? Would help us find the best solution for you.
None of which explains what the hell you're doing.
The average MB per request is 11.36 based on those numbers. File sharing then?
Here's a example of what we do, hopefully clears up a bit. https://redd.it/6ujt3m/
Static content (files) via nginx.
Get a Hetzner auction dedicated ( or multiple ) which have a 1 Gbps dedicated port. Includes 10 TB bandwidth. Additional bandwidth is ~ 1,38 EUR / TB.
If it is a mirror site for MSDN files like that Reddit post, it's not no illegal content like you said before.
Haha so hosting illegal files awesome. Well i hope you get taken down eventually.
OP, can you provide proof that these dumps are legal? Not sure what provider would be happy with the DMCA requests that would follow otherwise.
Those are MSDN public .iso's with no serial keys. At best your university gets mad to you.
Kind of like hosting linux isos
nvm: Holy mother of DMCA..
You're sharing games, music albums, and Japanese visual novels over an open HTTPS lol.
Let's not act like most of us don't steal stuff of teh interwebs when the mood takes us, either first or second hand.
He shouldve been honest to us from the begining since hes looking from a host.
