Yep, was a good few moons ago. It may have been at the time that CC bought CVPS. CC's been good about promo emails, I don't think i've ever seen any complaints for them/HVH/etc.

Bad marketing is noticeable and annoying. I make it a point to never employ "interruptive" tactics like cold email and annoying ads in places you don't want to see them (youtube, popups).

Sorry for delay, we have been alerted to this thread by a client. The best way to get in touch with us fastest is through our support ticket panel.
As with every company in any industry, from time to time we do send email notifications to existing clients before announcing anywhere else, this includes any special promotions, or new services that we release, or when we’re conducting client surveys to determine how we should grow.
Clients who are not interested in receiving such notifications have the option to opt-out from these email notifications by logging into the client area and modifying their preferences, or by clicking on the unsub button at the bottom of those emails.
@teamacc pointed out a WHMCS bug where unsubscribe does not work with emails containing a + sign, I will contact WHMCS support about this, in the meanwhile anyone can always contact us to manually unsubscribe or update their preferences in the client area. Thanks
