BTC mining on GPUs is dead since years, we have an ASIC miner.

They are still ok for some currencies but not really high profit with EU power prices, so not worth the hassle. Most are testing cards i used for PLX/Mac Pro/OSX testing only.

  • WilliamWilliam Member

The SSD is gone. Removed from thread as i can still edit anyway.

Glad I read that over a second time, almost mistook it for another country with a similar name, shipping is cheaper to me from Europe as well

  • WilliamWilliam Member

yea, Australia would be a bit far ;)

Most hardware is already/still in Austrian office, the things at home in Croatia i just ship via AT as our postal system is absolutely not reliable and if they fuck up i want to avoid Croatian speaking...

DHL/others also possible for everything, but likely more expensive.

    Damn, missed the ssd :/

  • randvegetarandvegeta Member, Host Rep

@William, you using an Antminer for BTC?

What is the lifespan of an ASIC miner before it becomes obsolete?

  • WilliamWilliam Member

Old edition, it is obsolete - But that solely depends on power cost. On free power even GPU mining is profitable.

  • If the i5 is free this evening I will arrange to take it

I also found my unused Apple Magic Trackpack 2 if anyone wants it:

    https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MJ2R2LL/A/magic-trackpad-2

80EUR with lightning cable in non original box.

Pretty cool thing, but not much on desktop nowadays so rather pointless to keep. Mint condition.

4EUR - 8EUR depending on size (Paketmarke 45, 70 or 120). Depending what you want i include the shipping free, the cost is negligible in the end. Insured & Tracked.

iPad/any GPU is free, an SSD for 50EUR or so... maybe, but i don't like that too much ;)

  • WilliamWilliam Member

The R9 380 is gone now also. Updated initial post.

@kh81 let me know if you still want something, i can have it shipped out with that package later when office staff leaves/else tomorrow morning.

Thank you picking up the bag for me. I would re-use those GPUs for one of th hundreds of altcoin.

ETH and XMR are profitable on these also in EU, especially the RX480/285, i just have no interest in running it here.
