    Thanks :)

I'll get some proper offer threads up in a bit.

    Francisco

  • I'm interested in Slice 1024 but with 2TB bandwidth (or at least 1.5GB) and some discount applied against the standard price of $3.50

Hope to see your offer thread soon.

  • @francisco Whats the likely hood that they get sold out before you manage to make a thread, You now it's like feeding candy to a baby with your slices

The offer will be what's on the site.

The bandwidth is actually unmetered now, I just need to make some minor changes to the site.

    Enjoy!

    BuyVM don't do offers. EVER.

  • Is the Slice something like Cloud or just a name for a VPS plan?

  • WHT said: a name for a VPS plan?

A name for a VPS plan with KVM virt & dedicated CPU.

    Hello!

The prices on the site are what I can do. The bandwidth is fair share unmetered 1Gbit.

It's cheap enough as is... Stop being greedy.

Not at this time. Down the road (Christmas, etc) we might do some 'yearly discount' deals where we'll give 2 months free.

As @trewq said, we felt the prices were good enough that they didn't need a yearly discount too.

@Francisco seems weird there is no newer Ubuntu and Debian as install options. Any reason for that ? I know I can use iso but for quick test seems too much to do :

I'm working on some scripts to help automate template creation & updating. We've always done it by hand (read: dedicate a weekend to building/sparsifying, and cleaning them up) but I'm mostly done on some automation for it.

Once that's done I can easily build a full template, all cleaned up, inside of a few minutes.

    Interesting. https://buyvm.net/new-jersey-datacenter/ :

Our New Jersey location is located in the new Dupont Fabros facility in Piscataway. This location allows us to directly connect to all major backbones via NYIIX and enables us to deliver outstanding network performance to the entire North American East Coast as well as to many parts of South America.

NJ did move to NY :P Choopa is in piscataway, it's a township or whatever. I have a complaint list a mile long that @jbiloh confirmed wasn't 'just me' sometime last year.

Oh :). What's the new location? I also notice all the non-slice plans except the 128MB OpenVZ are discontinued now. Sounds like a good time to get a 128MB, or a slice, not sure which :).

We're in 25 Broadway. I'm pulling transit from a couple more providers very soon.
