Hi,
Take a look to our DeepNet Solutions (https://www.deepnetsolutions.com/openvz-vps.html) offers! The 128mb package would be perfect for you!

Good question
KVM

https://contraweb.net/klanten/cart.php?a=add&pid=134&language=english
Why are you doing this
I do not need another idling VPS
You're forcing me to buy it
Oh dear
Is the core dedicated or shared?
who is ContraWeb? i can only buy from long term active providers. this what LET have thought me.
I got the same question...
@ContraWeb do you have an English version of the website? Or at least ToS, AUP and the like
I'm sorry but I can't read Dutch
I see you registered your domain last September & I can't find your company on WHT; for how long have you been in this business? That price for that KVM is... too good (I'd say suicidal)
@ehab well they have a Provider tag but they seem still pretty new
ContraWeb officially started on 01/09/2016, but i sold Virtual Private Servers way before that. We are 100% legit i can even give u a test VPS.
We are pretty new on the market, so we get it if people don't trust us, we will be happy to provide these people a test VPS for 1 hour to atleast show them what we offer.
We are working on a language system for our website as we speak: http://prntscr.com/e4ju0b
It just takes allot of time.
Please read my last response, will make a topic soon.
I requested a trial:

Ehhh, you're talking about an 8 euro/year vps. That's jellybean territory, where you can give it a try if you think you might have a use for it. As long as you manage your expectations you can't go too far wrong.
Can you try one with --server 5252 "speedtest-cli --server 5252"

I've requested a test as well and @ContraWeb has been kind enough to provide it almost instantly.
I've been assigned an ip belonging to (EDIT: corrected) https://apps.db.ripe.net/search/query.html?searchtext=185.166.238.0/24#resultsAnchor#resultsAnchor#resultsAnchor
Here's a geekbench run on ContraWeb's test machine; as a comparison, this is one belonging to arubacloud (1€/mo offer)
Here's a sysbench
Here's a serverbench (with 100MB test files)
Here are some speedtests
Here's another serverbench (with 10MB test files)
Hello,
The data of BGPVIEW is outdated, please look at these links:
https://apps.db.ripe.net/search/query.html?searchtext=185.166.238.0/24#resultsAnchor
http://bgp.he.net/net/185.166.238.0/24#_whois
Thanks for sharing benchmarks.
while others are pounding the node, normal paying customers are getting slower and slower performance.
Also the speedtests upload speed seems bugged.
Please try iperf3 -c speedtest.serverius.net -p 5002 -P 10 -4
Download:
[SUM] 0.00-10.00 sec 1.10 GBytes 943 Mbits/sec sender
[SUM] 0.00-10.00 sec 1.09 GBytes 940 Mbits/sec receiver
iperf3 -c speedtest.serverius.net -p 5002 -P 10 -4 -R
Upload:
[SUM] 0.00-10.00 sec 1.10 GBytes 943 Mbits/sec sender
[SUM] 0.00-10.00 sec 1.09 GBytes 940 Mbits/sec receiver
@tenpera the more tests like this are shared, the less the pounding; there's always some curiosity (mixed with doubt) when a new player gets into town. OTOH, a quick {server, geek}bench in a KVM should not "steal" node performances to "paying customers"; if any, tests like this in my view could increase the pool of prospective "paying customers" and eventually benefit the provider and the old customers (as long as these reviews can assure that their provider gets some publicity and doesn't deadpool)
So, you're welcome : )
@ContraWeb I've suspected it, it's not the first time that speedtest.py behaves a little strangely. I'm just trying to find a reason to buy yet another idling VPS, I guess I'm gonna find it soon
Oh, well, I did not resist that long
I've bought it, I've received the same ip of the test machine, I've tried iperf3 and it's ~932 Mbits/sec
also couldn't resist. yet I had 8.00 € on the invoice but 8.43 € via paypal (the latter more likely equals $9)? will see how things will turn out...
@ContraWeb maybe you want to have a look into that invoicing, I am going to open a ticket regarding this, because it would be great to get a correct invoice stating either $9 or 8.43 € at least to be able to do correct accounting and taxes ;-)
also the link to the customerpanel in your welcom-mail seems broken ( https://contraweb.net/klanten/ vs. https://contraweb.net/klanten/clientarea )
good luck with your sales!
Resistance is futile (at least for the moment).
Signed up after a few discussions with @ContraWeb who has been very polite and punctual in clarifying my questions.
@Falzo - I too had the invoice "mismatch" where the amount shown is different from the charged amount (just a minor amount as you've pointed out but I too have raised a ticket to understand why - at all my other providers the invoice amount is charged precisely as displayed).
I also had to switch to "English" language in the portal (again pointed out by @ContraWeb) and I can manage. Unfortunately so far all the emails are in Dutch (but I'm able to manage since I only need the username/password!).
Now to find some (non idling) use for this nice KVM...
