$17.50 I think?
Well, If you don't want it.. I'm waiting on one of their el-cheapo non-atoms to be provisioned and am slowly talking myself into actually doing something beyond wasting time on LET/LES Forum.
Pretty sure I'm not going to keep it, it got provisioned with a disk configuration I didn't want and whilst I was waiting for it to be re-provisioned I picked up one of the Online specials and cracked on with that instead. It expires on the 23rd, so if transfers are allowed we need to sort it out ASAP.
I'm pretty sure it's allowed. @VortexMagnus, what we gotta do for a transfer?
It's allowed. You'll need to open a ticket (@Nekki) including @WSS name & email address. Obviously @WSS if you don't have one already you have to create an account on VortexNode website first.
It can take some time but if it expires on the 23rd that sounds totally doable..
@Nekki - Up for it? Want me to send you my account info? If you GIS me, I am afraid I am wearing pants..
Yeah fine, send me the deets and I'll throw a ticket in.
Or just renew it and settle up privately.
Unacceptable.
Looking to waste money on a budget dedicated. HVH let me down so If there is any smoking hot provider that I dont know off... Maybe Mr. @Nekki knows something about that. USA
US isn't my specialist subject I'm afraid, I have virtually nothing in the country anymore.
WSI have the $10 Atoms and Core2Duo's in stock right now.
@Nekki Deets sent, gracias!
@Hxxx wait for a Kimsufi? If you have an OVH (account), I may get rid of mine, but I just renewed it for 3 months yesterday, so..
If this machine is nicer than my $10 VN, I might be willing to let it go after I decide I like the feel of @Nekki 's against my cool skin.
Well, Vortexnode has some . What are you looking for, at what budget, etc.?
Sorry, scared of CC stuff.
Too many bad experiences.
If with HVH directly they couldn't prioritize tickets and solve the problem in a timely manner, what makes you think a reseller will be able to solve hardware issues more promptly...
Well, if it helps you feel better, HVH is under ColoCrossing.
That's what I meant.
Are you saying Vortexnode is reselling CC? I didn't realize that. It's interesting.
They are. Look at the trending around here, almost every provider around throwing hot smoking offers are involved with CC. The past BF, LEB was all CC fest. LET was about the same. Its been fuckingtastic
Interesting. The two VPS that I bought on BF were OVH (definitely not CC) and Vortexnode (Tier 1 KVM). The Vortexnode KVM is very nice and responsive, no noticable problems so far. Haven't used it a lot yet though. Thanks for the info.
Sorry, I've been reading so much stupid shit today that I just assumed..
Just got my $20/mo machine:
Linux host.colocrossing.com 4.9.5-1.el6.elrepo.x86_64 #1 SMP Fri Jan 20 11:34:46 EST 2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Yeah, I upgraded the kernel.
Lol, thanks. Well I was sort of interested in one of those, but got an E3-1230v3 at about the same price in the online.net promo so I'm cool for now.
I just wanted to bump this to say: VortexNode have bent over backwards to keep me happy for a couple dollars a day. They've done in-place hardware exchanges for me, setup KVMoIPs so I could install neckbeard operating systems, and for some reason, still answer my tickets with speed and professionalism.
Thank you, VortexNode. You're my favorite
abused spousededi provider!
