    Added: got it to work by blocking zopim.com from loading apparently-useless scripts. However, the only payment method accepted is paypal, which I don't use. Oh well.

    I think zopim (the online help chat) was having problems. I blocked it and the page loaded fine after that. @tragic I wish you didn't require paypal.
