What's your budget? Do you need 4GB or more?
Hi!
We are in Hungary, so we ignore DMCA (because DMCA is an US think), check our SSD based, OpenVZ or Xen plans...

Uptime is good. Network is average. Performance - no problems thus far. Support is slow, but competent - although with bad english.
I honestly can't complain for the price.
Wrong place, mate.
Sure, choose anywhere outside of the USA. That being said, the hosts will need to obey local laws concerning copyright.
Iran will serve you well.
Let me know when you find a host where NSA can't touch it? I need to upload some racy pictures.
By ignoring DMCA or without DMCA, copyright holder shall be able to sue you directly.
@sz1hosting
No, US law doesn't apply all around the world.
We have Offshore IL cPanel Hosting and reseller hosting as long as it is not a scam or spam site or hate site it will never get taken down. Click the site in my signature.
@sz1hosting... sorry what's a hate site?
Racist mainly.
IMHO, DMCA is to protect webmaster from being sued. Did I miss something?
You did miss DMCA is US law which applies only within the US.
@sz1hosting what is your DMCA not applicable location?
Israel aka IL
give @IxamHosting a shout, hes got some pretty good services up in Romania.
You can't sue someone with no US presence on grounds of DMCA, even if they pirated your content.
To make it a valid legal case, you will need to follow the user's country's legal codes in copyright infringement. Some countries may not have it, and some countries' authorities may not enforce such regulations, nevertheless it is very hard to raise a copyright infringement dispute in many EU countries without a strong legal background and going through complicated (and expensive) legal procedures.
Up to 4gb is fair enough i guess//
hello! What about complains from poland?? Can you completly ignore them, and assure me that my server is safe from going down and my personal data will not come to anyone else??
You can PM me!
Regards!
@jasiek07 you could try EDIS in Sweden. they do up to 2GB
You might try:
Thanks!
The prices aren't too interesting..
@Nyr wut? for example EDIS has a DC in Swiss and its owned a by a American Company so they need to care about DCMA-
Here's my good deed of the day: the minute a provider receives a cease and desist letter from a third party's lawyer, they will most likely ask you to cease and desist in turn, and failing that, null route your IP pronto. Faced with a court order in a pending case, they will fork over all your personal data. You need to look for an offshore AND very stupid provider, who would be willing to protect your illegal activity and identity in exchange for a LEB monthly fee. China is also a good bet, as most people here believe they are safe from trademark infringement prosecution (until somebody decides to go after them and set them straight). Stealing from other people is one way to make a living. There are many others. I urge you to consider your "business model" carefully before starting on this road.
So what is the point of offshore servers?
What could you say about this one:
http://www.edis.at/en/server/linux-vserver/offshore-vps-in-isle-of-man/
They say that this is 100% and no legislation. That's not true?
US based companies are governed by US law. Rest of the world isn't.
They don't say that. Most interesting pitch there is about gambling laws, not copyright.

If you want to sail this close to the wind, you have to learn to read things more carefully. YOUR quote is not true. EDIS's original statement on their website states something very different.
There are many reasons for use of so-called "offshore" servers. Copyright infringement is not the only game in town This aside, you and others here are confusing two different issues: (1) DMCA (which applies to US persons only - and NOT location of the server, as many here seem to believe); and (2) copyright laws (applicable in most jurisdictions, including most "offshore" jurisdictions).
However, I left the most important stuff for last: as I have already pointed out above, laws apply to PERSONS, not server location. Being Polish, you are subject to Polish law (even if you reside outside of Poland - believe it or not). If the Polish IP rights owner identifies you as the operator of the server infringing said rights, they can go after you in Poland no matter where the server is located. The server is not the offender. YOU are!
DMCA is valid only for US companies (not individuals from US that has a service to another location). But most of the countries having their own copyright laws and in EU, they have similar laws and agreements with US, so, most of providers will take your server down if they find out that you hold illegal content.
There are some providers that are, how can I say that, "copyright flexible", if you know what i mean ;-)
But even with them, you will hardly find somebody that if he gets complains or threats about lawsuits , he will continue to provide with service.
And do not expect to a legit forum like this anybody tell you witch are the providers that do ignore legal threads and are welcoming copyright violations.
