  • I see, now i clearly understood the topic. What about placing "report button" on the website with copyrighted content? If the authors have possibility to send complains which will cause copyrighted content to be removed, is my website still illegal?

No my friend, this is NOT how Israeli laws work. DMCA is not valid at all, EUCD is partly valid due to agreements with the EU, and, most importantly, the local Cyber Response Unit (CERT) can FORCE you to remove any content at their will.

We do not accept (much) DMCA in Sweden, in special for Torrent sites as there is a standing court order against our Upstream which forbids him to host any Torrent related sites.

    Old thread!!

  • You can try this one: https://black.host/dmca-ignored-vps-servers they are 100% dmca ignored and if they receive complains from their upstream provider they will provide you with suggestions how to avoid downtime etc...

So far i'm very happy with them.

By ignoring DMCA or without DMCA, copyright holder shall be able to sue you directly.

For Example in India there is NO DMCA.
But leave aside pirated stuff, even porn ( legal ) is illegal !

And yes, they do put people behind bars !

    bollywood.

  • @gsrdgrdghd I'm just sharing my positive experience with BlackHOST and i really tought that this will help someone, sorry if i opened old topic.

Regards DMCA they will hide your identity from anyone interested in you, and I've seen that they offer anonymous servers too, a bit expensive but they have that too. For now im using their VPS services and i'm thankful, I had some software issues ( accidentally locked myself out of the VPS ) and it took some time to resolve this but again i'm using cheap service with no management and it was error caused by me so I'll forgive them that.

Now i'm waiting to see their response time when some network or hardware issues occur...

    So far so good.
