    Wow.

It's incredible that you'd actually want to post that on your website, @Jeffrey. I mean c'mon, with anything you post publicly, you have to assume that everyone that you don't want to see it might see it - Including your employer.
I'm genuinely surprised you still have a job.

Oops forgot to read the blog. I take my last comment back. AlexanderM and I are the only exceptions.

GVH's Jon Nguyen's expertise with handling systems administration:

  • iceTwy said: Yeah, because obviously, a teen who hasn't even been to uni and studied CS/related will be able not only to administrate servers for a hosting company, but he'll lead the whole company as well!

You don't need a degree to be somebody in technology. Say what you want about GVH et al. but that's a pretty smug statement with nothing behind it.

Because apparently you're one of the elite wunderkids of the hosting industry. Congratulations - you've been lumped in with GVH...

Jeffrey said: It's all about getting the word out there and proving yourself.

How exactly have you proven yourself considering you're speaking of 50/50.

I don't think many people want to run a business for someone who only has a dayjob fund to offer, no offence intended.

  • @AlexanderM you should create a drama thread and clarify it all up. Time for you to clean your name bec everybody thought you are already in some way part of that shit brand. Wrong decisions, never too late though.

  • Summer is coming.

  • Just_A_Noob said: He also started gridhosting

    Was never launched.

  • viCommunications said: Summer is coming.

Yup, an endless summer for me! Let the games begin! ;)

  • GreenValueHost said: Don't listen to anyone who tells you that you can't start a successful hosting company as a teenager, they're wrong. You can do it!

I've done it before, but thank you! :)

  • Just_A_Noob said: He also started gridhosting (does have broken links) then tried to sell space on his incomplete blog now is trying to get someone to do all the sales for him for a hosting company.

Perhaps @jeffrey would be a great partner for you. Impart on him all of your wisdom.

Ya know, that's just the way us kiddos roll. ;)

  • Just_A_Noob said: Actually your behavior is so utterly poor in your public blog- I would be stunned if any rational company offers you a career job after reading it. I would also be stunned if you find a partner unless its another foul mouthed 18 year old, whose ideas of generating revenue change ever 6 months.

    Thank you :)

Yeh, I remember my business studies classes essentially being just a case of common sense; guess that explains why so many fail?

I'm sure the only thing I learned in 2 years was how the stock market works...

  • Business classes tell you how businesses are run / familiarizes you with the concepts / terms you'll need, and for that purpose, they are okay enough.

They do not teach you how to run a business yourself.

As odd as it might seem, there is a massive difference between the two.

  • TIL GreenValueHost gets a lot of generally undeserved hate no matter what it does.

That's because Jon (allegedly) drowns kittens if he doesn't sell enough containers each week to satisfy his money lust.
