Hello, I want to get a VPS from Hong Kong with $40~50 per month, it should be: 1.5GB+ RAM 40GB+ HDD Self-help Reboot and other management actions And if it support self-reinstall operating system and could be upload owned ISO file as a operating system will be the best. I'd contact @William directly. They do have servers (to my understanding) in Hong Kong but I don't think they updated the site (or something's going down idk). The only provider I know in Hong Kong is EDIS. Why Hong Kong though? OneAsiaHost by @Kenshin is in Singapore (LowEndBox and LowEndTalk lacks Asian hosts).

Like I said, there isn't much focus on Asia here, therefore the only two providers I know who have servers in Asia are @Kenshin of OneAsiaHost (in Singapore) and @William of EDIS (Hong Kong).

I just required the connection speed within 100ms for China users. These areas are also meet my requirements.

Yeah, I pinged it and most of cities < 100ms, but I am worried about why they do not provide refund.

There is also vpsnine.com, vr.org also you can use Amazon AWS Free Tier for Asia based VMs (Japan and second location, I don't remember is it Singapore or HK).

1. It seems that vpsnine.com's datacenter is in USA, you can see: http://testfile.vpsnine.com/
2. Vr.org's price is a little high.
3. Amazon has a bad network connection to mainland China.

West Coast U.S. has a connection with 200ms ping, not very far. I will use this VPS as a WordPress and Application hosting powered by cPanel.

In fact West Coast U.S. is just fine as HK has very limited bw exchange with mainland, the same applies to Taiwan and Japan.

Wow. Question... any idea why is pinging their SG so fast from here in Manila? Im getting less than 40ms. While trying other SG is slow?
