Take a look into first e-mails from netcup. Was there something like "extra SSD" promo or something and that changed the rules?

It's highly unlikely that netcup suddenly changed the billing term after you purchased the service, so my guess is that you missed this detail when purchasing it

Never happened to me with Netcup, but i think i had a similar experience with Hetzner. Since my storage box usage is under €5, they bill me every two months instead.

If my experience told me anything with Netcup, it’s usually because of the contract (minimum month or something)

Why don’t you contact netcup support and ask them? Or just sue them

I just received my invoice from Netcup and saw that they charged 2x for one of my VDS's. On closer inspection it seems they charged for two months.
