Dude, I gave you three of the best DNS providers around...jeez!

your domains with a single very reliable DNS provider, than have to log in somewhere else every time you need to edit DNS. Unless you have everything hosted on a single server as well, which is, well

Also, can you please tell me which DNS provider to use? google is a good option?

You should never host your DNS from your main hosting provider.

Then presumably I can create 10.x.x.x DNS entries and tell the nodes to talk on those.

I know there are "dynamic DNS providers" who can give a static identity to the computer, but not sure if i can use it for this purpose, i certainly prefer doing this DNS service by m

Brother it seems your dns is not binding properly ..

* DO DNS @ record

EDIT: Else if you prefer DO DNS, you do not even need to update in WHM, just have relevant A record for sub.domain.com over there (not sure if you can do that)

Not sure, but have you tried clearing your DNS cache and switching to Google's Public DNS?

Drop the DNS hosting with hosting providers, and go with a dedicated DNS company.

Is there a script that can check if #1 is offline, and if so, then update the DNS with the ip of #2?

* Free reverse DNS management

This is up to your DNS configuration. Remove A record in your DNS zone file, leave only AAAA.
