Cloudflare's free dns is awesome...I use it on hundreds of sites and it's never let me down.

I have a site running mybb which is using CloudFlare DNS. Problem is all users coming to site are showing CloudFlare IP no matter which country/region are they from. Is this normal?

I would check your DNS resolver's and make sure there isn't a bottle neck elsewhere, what mirrors are you using for example? Try changing to another mirror in Germany.

If the server is taking long to find and download updates its most likely a configuration issue. Make sure that no firewall is blocking DNS responses, otherwise try to disable IPv6 temporarily.

SSL will indeed hide the contents of the page & even the exact page URL - though DNS queries will still reveal you connecting to XXX.xyz, which might be what the OP is trying to avoid.
