Simple; Stay away from ChicagoVPS/CVPS.

we host our main site on a chicagovps KVM server so as not to keep all eggs in 1 basket so to speak.

ChicagoVPS aren't renowned for speedy support. I'm also not sure Chris comes here that much, so without tagging him or one of his team, not sure anyone will see this.

Hey Chris my server has been down for over 24 hours now ? how about some Customer Service here ?

i have put a temp backup site up. just until chicagovps gets there sh*t together and gets my server back up

Well my main site is down on ChicagoVPS LA Server and there not getting to the support tickets in a timely manor.

$30/year for ChicagoVPS 2GB RAM, and 50GB disk space, and that's cheap as it is (never did I mention reliable).

123system's support is indeed sub-par and their control panel is offline quite regularly. I don't have these issues with ChicagoVPS, so if anything, any acquisition should improve 123systems.

Today I decided to use them for running some temporary scripts. So I reset my ChicagoVPS password, since the UGVPS password did not work any more, I go to My Services > View Details > Re

Can you manage your box via https://billing.chicagovps.net/clientarea.php ? If yes, the solus access for clients is disabled (they did that for all CVPS boxes last july). If not, open a ticket.
