for production, why don't use use the big players ovh, online, netcup, digitalocean, vultr, upcloud, Hetzner. I never tried Clouvider, ramnode but most say they are good. Lunanode os worth to mention.

Excuse me? I like netcup as I am a happy customer and recommend it (less than @Falzo, but still) where I feel it's appopriate (in this case, dedicated CPU for ~10 USD which is what OP wanted).
