A bit faster at the largest block size, but slower on all others, up to 10x. Checked on my home server with AMD Ryzen 5900X, bare metal (no VPS).

tempted to run this on a GCORE vps which shows QEMU virtual cpu with nothing enabled

vps will be better option if too many uploads/downloads/fetch per hour. else go with S3 compatible service.

not an exact match if “unlimited/unmetered” is a hard requirement, but just to add another EU option: Aruba Cloud VPS in Italy comes with 1 Gb/s connectivity and included monthly traffic, depending on

* Get an actual storage VPS/dedi and run something like Chevereto or a custom setup on it

Looking for hosting providers that tick two boxes at once.

All VPS services are operated and managed on our own infrastructure.

Have you ever had a VPS that isn't using CPU passthrough and is not exposing AES-NI, causing really, really slow encryption? Or have you ever asked your provider to enable it but instead gotten kicked

never had issues with these things, especially using AES encryption. Never had such hight CPU load. I don't know what went wrong with your particular VPS, but I've been using SoftShell for almost 7 mo

like 12-13 years ago I used them. They were quite popular then. Managed VPS w/ cPanel. network was good, but the CPU models were E3/E5 then. Support was okish. Now their new pricing is too expensive.

I have opened a support ticket regarding your AMD EPYC 7543 VPS offer and our custom requirements for game port filtering.
