I've seen in previous leaks that the Virtualizor DB contains the email log that gets sent to the customer, which includes the root password.

As a rule of thumb, you should always change the root password. Even Vultr stores the root password that the server was launched with.

If I remember correctly, Virtualizor redacts root passwords from logs. Storing the password is opt-in feature configurable in Master Settings (which means that provider have to enable it).
