These are excellent value for money (esp. the lower sized VPSs). At the higher end though, it is really hard to beat Netcup's value (for e.g. the Easter offers at roughly € 7-8 with >=8GB of RA

the netcup example is a good one, because 1600 iops are about ten times what you could see on single harddrive, so not bad at all. on the other hand from a single modern ssd you could expect something
