I have mostly been idling my SmartDNS services (Getflix since they stopped supporting flix and Keepsolid DNS in favour of plain VPN unblocking). When I used Keepsolid DNS it was for Flix and for that

So I've always used Cloudflare Free to protect my websites, I can just point the DNS to my IP at home to change it.

So the Keepsolid SmartDNS came back to $49.99 for lifetime. So I picked it up.

They do a really good job with their DNS service. I have been using them for Geo-location of a couple of web sites since the beta.

I like using bunny dns, because it's integrated with bunnycdn, so we can activate full site acceleration, similar to cloudflare proxied

The DNS Scripts, like serverless functions for returning DNS Records, are sorta interesting too. But they only support returning a few record types so far like a/aaaa/cname/txt, so a bit limited.

ClouDNS, mainly because they are the least expensive of the paid DNS services and the Anycast network is satisfyingly fast to update.

Has anyone tried Zilore? They have a free version with 10,000,000 DNS queries, looks interesting.

fact, adguard is much better than pihole if you are only looking for dns based adblocker.

but that was no problem because the nameservers were independent from the registry, so i could manage any dns changes as usual.
