IPv6 being disabled on its own should not stop port 53. What you’re likely running into (and this is an assumption on my end without having visibility into your environment or logging into the server)

Does this mean no possibility of hosting DNS for names registered outside of NameCrane?

I do have an existing .ovh domain but i think they don't limit it to ppl with existing paid product there. The dns menu and button to add third party dns zone exist even before i got the .ovh domain.

Did you have other services there? I wonder if this is like Hetzner where having no other services is allowed when signing up for free DNS hosting.

I just noticed that ovh also allow free hosted zone now. Just not anycast on free zone, and i think no dnssec for third party domain there. Just tested with 2 of my domains but i remembered again why

Dnssec isn’t wired up yet, but the managed dns service should be all good to go. I released docs on GitHub yesterday.

EDIT: To add, the error might very well be on my side as my DNS has been weird in some very rare cases, but I could maybe assist anyway since I never get any error messages from the chat.
