AFAIK, stackcp has got dns panel, I use it with a few domains.

Yes, but not find dnssec setting or menu in xhosts.

    Do you have xhosts service?
Can you share me how to setting?

    Thank you.

  • @youandri said: Can you share me how to setting?

Sadly, there is no DS record on the list of available records, so I guess you should wait for xhosts to respond to your ticket.

    Yes. I think isn’t available.
    The support not helpful.

We have replied multiple times to your support ticket and advised you need to get the information from your domain registrar and add this within StackCP

Like the other @JohnFilch123, in DS Record StackCP Panel also there is no on the list records.

I think there may be some confusion regarding the DNSSEC flow.

My domain registrar is asking me to provide the DNSKEY RR and DS Record generated by the authoritative DNS provider.

Since I am using your StackCP nameservers for this domain, I expected StackCP to either:

    • generate the DNSSEC records automatically, or
    • provide the DNSKEY/DS values for me to submit to the registrar.

At the moment, my registrar does not generate these records itself, it expects them from the DNS hosting provider.

Could you please confirm whether your StackCP DNS platform actually supports DNSSEC zone signing?

If not, that is completely fine. :)
I just want to confirm whether DNSSEC is supported or unsupported on your DNS service.

Maybe this for example, Cloudflare works the opposite way:

    1. I enable DNSSEC in Cloudflare
    2. Cloudflare automatically generates the DNSKEY and DS information
    3. Cloudflare then provides the DS record values to me
    4. I submit those DS values at my domain registrar

So in that setup, the authoritative DNS provider (Cloudflare) is the one generating the DNSSEC material not the registrar.

That is why I was asking whether StackCP also supports DNSSEC zone signing and can provide the DNSKEY/DS records in a similar way.

    Thank you so much. :)

We have advised you of this in the ticket, we have also checked this with 20i directly. As the domain is not registered with them they require your domain registrar to generate these records.

Understood, thank you for checking this with 20i and for clarifying the limitation regarding externally registered domains.

    I appreciate the assistance.

@xHosts your signup form is fully broken (when a new customer signs up after adding something in the cart)

    1. Captcha doesn't refresh
    2. Regardless of how many tries (I had more than 12), you get "Please check the captcha form and try again". The last time I checked, I am not a ROBOT

How to place an order IF you are trying again and again like me?
    1. Create an account FIRST
    2. Then go back to cart and attempt a payment, it will WORKS
Note: IF you have selected Stripe, there might be a cooloff period BECAUSE for them you have authorized the same card 12 times and unbeknown to them, it was rejected 12 times

We checked our logs and cannot see any issues, this is why we asked regarding a VPN as we only use Cloudflare Turnstile and we had no other reports of issues.

any reviews on these shared hosting packages? are they good, espec the stackcp?

  • They are pretty good but you need to be careful especially with ssh and do not do things that are prohibited.
