Default business/residential v6 allocation is between a /56 and a /48, and some services online are banning/blocking IPs based on the /48 - so giving a bigger block to a VM/dedi/etc isn't the craziest

Centurylink gives me 2x1000mbps symmetrical for $100/month. This is because of a contention ratio, existing cabling, residential no-SLA.

Yes, the dedicated bandwidth, the ones that datacenters use, not the residential or shared lines.

Does it have to be colo? Why not residential internet?
