What do you use to manage dedicated servers

Saw some good deals on delimiter, and want to buyin... but never had a dedidcated VPS before.

Would you recommend it for a windows admin I am open to using linux

    I would say get a cheap $10/yr Linux VPS first and play around with that before you get a dedi. There are plenty of tutorials on how to do pretty much anything with a Linux server.

    Also use Debian.

  • it all depends on what are you going to do with it ?

  • If you are hosting websites you can use the free interworx license included for 10 domains, or else you can install VestaCP.

    And also play with Virtualizor which is a great way to get started setting up VPS in OpenVZ, KVM and Xen. It does the heavy lifting for you.
