Free VPS for Two Years (OK, there's a catch)

I noticed nephoscale.com today, which will give you a virtual server which is very much like Amazon AWS's free tier, except it looks like it's a little more generous with bandwidth.
So, year one: Amazon AWS Free Tier, then you rsync to...
Year two: nephoscale.com free
After that, well, it's late 2013 and some other provider will come along :-)
Only downside is that both of these are pretty small plans. 10GB for disk, which is a little small to use for backup. 15GB bandwidth with AWS and 50GB with nephoscale.

Can you provide a link to the offer?
I can only find one with these details:
They also need cc details, they also charge you $1 to youre card
The buck you probably get back in a day or two.
DanielM it will only be a pending charge, they'll drop it after a few days/a week.
so is this good or what
Well if you need a very cheap web space, it'll work. It's only got a gig of transfer or what other folks call bandwidth. That'll be an issue for many.
They reserved only 0.01$ not 1$... Unfortunate I need to call them, because I didn't receive call back.
... grrr, I hate speaking in english.
I sound like this
Much better than a Texas accent. Spanish and Italian English accents are the most understandable ones, excluding the native British English of course.
chicks dig it
Why the heck is she standing outside for this? You can hear the background noise.
sigh Redheads....
Awwww, now I love that video
Nothing wrong with that ;]
It's KVM. They use KVM templates.

LOL, EU connectivity sucks xD
Native British English is nearly unintelligible.
That happens when they use archaic vocabulary. I was talking about accent.
Most native US English speakers talk like if they had his mouth full, because they don't pronounce.
heh, not outstanding but not bad. Doesn't do a whole lot for me.
That's because out mouths are full as we're the fattest country around and always eating. Last time I called my bank, the call center person (US by the way) was munching on popcorn. I know because I asked and we chatted for a bit as to what we like on our popcorn.
Looks like she's got some Asian in her. There's no telling what's about to happen with those sausages.
I need to be fair and update this, speeds with Europe are amazing considering others. I just love Level 3 network...
Sometimes I am getting nesty speed results, but most of the time it's amazing.
Nice ioping and dd results... this one is on debian...
@asf did you say something? Um.....
