PPTP Help with static ip

tronyxtronyx Member

I have a VPS with additional ipv4 address so i tried to install PPTP server on it and use it on some other VPS with PPTP client but when i run a pptp client i got some problems. I take a look in "/var/log/messages" and I see that local IP is actually static ip that i want to assign to this pptp client and remote IP is 10.0.0.1

I follow this tutorial: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-setup-your-own-vpn-with-pptp and i put static ip in "/etc/ppp/chap-secrets"

Any suggestion will help me, thanks.
