Server monitor application for set of distributed VPS

I have a set of VPSes that I'd like to monitor the status of (CPU, RAM, Disk, Network, Ping Times, Running Processes/Threads) from different service providers distributed in different geographical locations. Also I'd like to gather all data of my VPSes (slaves) into a central (master) server and visualize it there remotely over http.

Is there anything good that you guys know or think would work to get this done. I'm evaluating all different possibilities and currently have looked into Munin & Cacti. I'd be very grateful if you could suggest a monitoring tool with a more pleasing/modern UI and doesn't take up much resources for the data gathering agents running on the VPSes.
