Hello LowEndPeople,
Just been looking at a new SD Card for my Pi B should I be looking for a I/O minimum. I'm not a heavy user just a few nginx sites for local internal use.

5 Mb/s should be enough :P
I have a Kingston 16G MicroSDHC (its a B+ Pi) UHS-1 Class 10. Other than apt-get being a bit faster, I haven't noticed much difference between a standard MicroSD Card.
SanDisk Mobile Ultra will pull around 58MB/s

It may be just something for the early models, but I do remember going through a few cards with my original model b.
now you mention it I do recall some swearing. The b-rev2 is fine I think I had a issue with rev1
