Hiawatha + PHP5-FPM + MariaDB + SQLBuddy Install Script (Debian 7 64 bit)
I was a bit bored today so i decided to write a simple install script for Hiawatha, PHP-FPM, MariaDB and SQLBuddy. This is the first "big" bash script i've written.
I really like Hiawatha and MariaDB because the combination of those 2 are just super fast and stable.
I only tested this on Debian 7 64 bit.
To use the script: wget --no-check-certificate https://raw.githubusercontent.com/joodle/Hiawatha-MariaDB-PHP5-FPM-SQLBuddy/master/install.sh; chmod -x install.sh; bash install.sh

Yes there is. I already created the configuration files which gets downloaded to the server. You should go through the code of both of these scripts
another question/req, is it possible to replace php with hhvm? just googled but can't find the tutorial
I have no idea.. I never heard of HHVM haha. You can always try to get something working though :P Just mess around a bit.
yeahh, all tut that i found was just explained nginx combined with hhvm

Why SQLBuddy? Seems development stopped like 3 years ago?
Yep true project no more updated and would be dangerous to use in production. But you can always lock it down behind a .htaccess

So what advantages, if any, does SQLBuddy offer vis a vis the mainstream phpMyAdmin for example?
Why not Adminer?
I always liked SQLBuddy that's why i included that in the script
What's about MyWebSQL?. Kloxo-MR possible using phmyadmin, adminer, mywebsql and sqlbuddy for cp.* address.
how does hiawatha comparw with nginx in terms of memory usage and performance?
Hiawatha is little bit slow (2-5% slower) but better security features.
Otherwise with nginx, hiawatha is able to cgi process (like perl).
hiawatha can also be used as a reverse proxy
Sounds good. "Hiawatha Monitor" is something interesting too.
