  i use this http://partedmagic.com/doku.php but mostly i only use the OS ISO file itself (lazy)

  I usually use system rescue cd or finnix, so both are in our iso list :-)

  I typically just use a Debian install CD. As long as I can get to a shell and have a few basic tools available (such as fdisk, all of the standard utilities), I'm happy.

  GParted and System Rescue CD(Although Sys rescue has debain), The USB also has memtests, other HD/Hardware tools, and ofc all my centos, debian, ubuntu.
