    No. You said 16 cores. That would mean 16 physical cores. You mean 16 threads. A thread is NOT a physical core.

    @key900 16 cores implies 16 physical cores. This cpu set up would have 8 physical cores and 16 THREADS.

    @key900 With hyperthread still doesn't make it 16 CORES. A THREAD is not a CORE
