But that torrents line is kinda odd.. you'll probably need to chat with them to work out if what you're planning to do is kosher on their service.

Wait, you guys buy VPS to use as Proxy/VPN. Then you use your home computer to torrent Linux isos? Interesting.
In my case, I use my office internet connection (which is blazing fast) but they only allow port 80 and 443. So I just tunnel it with OpenVPN on those port.
I also put raspberry pi with transmission daemon in it.
