Interesting, Drobo 12000i now supports SSD Acceleration
Drobo has released a firmware release that puts in SSL acceleration, not sure if there's any benefit for VPS nodes vs using technology like CacheCade, but interesting none the less.

meh they're showing roughly 600 to 1200 iops performance, cachecade is more like 300 to 30-50,000 IOPS performance gains.
