PPTP in OpenVZ by 123systems
I ran the command cat /dev/ppp
and got cat: /dev/ppp: No such device or address
, cat: /dev/net/tun: File descriptor in bad state
for cat /dev/net/tun
in a OpenVZ box bought from 123systems.net.
Can I run PPTP VPN there? Did anyone used PPTP in any box bought from 123systems?

If you receive this message, your PPP module is ready for use, i would highly recomend using this if you are unsure how to install it.

I'm pretty sure when it says No such device or address, it isn't ready.
Its when it says something like "in a bad state" or something (with the word bad in it) I know its ready.
I'd say like what @Jack said, check on Solus to see if you enabled it
I've planned to follow http://www.dearroy.info/install-pptp-vpn-on-openvz-vps/ this tuto.
I appreciate your suggestion.
This, and I will ask a 3rd time, enable it in solus, sometimes it does flake and you'll need to submit a ticket, but if you are at least going though the motions, you are miles ahead of most

I guess it says that becuase it isnt being used? Anyway both tuts linked both say if it displays that message its ready.

Here is one that acutally works instead
http://www.putdispenserhere.com/pptp-vpn-setup-guide-for-a-debian-openvz-vps/
TUN was enabled using a button from their client area.
PPP is enabled also, so I asked if PPTP would work or not.
It is solus, so YMMV
@Jack, for me, no options were there you mentioned.
