Low Ping to Europe
I'm looking for a VPS to use as a VPN. Preferably one with a nice ping to Europe. Ideal would be something below 100 ms. I've had some good experiences with Choopa's network, but any provider is welcome.
Requirements are minimal, ~128MB Ram, ~500GB bw, 1 IPv4, 100Mbps (1Gbps welcome).
It'd be great if you could accompany your offers with a test IP.
My budget is ~$26 / year.
Thanks in advance!
Edit: The location would have to be somewhere on the USA. Preferably New York. But anywhere works as long as my ping is low.

Well, best ping to Europe would have a server in Europe...
Take a look at our offers: http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/36869/sinavps-monthly-vps-in-switzerland-starting-at-3-12
The VPS is located in Switzerland.
Here are Test IPs and a Looking glass:

You will get approx 90ms of ping between Roubaix, France and Montreal, Canada.

This place is getting as bad as WHT, at least over their its just signatures getting flashed before anyone actually understand what the OP's required location is.
My bad completely, I had it in there initially but I cut it when I was redoing part of my post and then forgot to put it back in. I would like it to be in New York or along that coast. I'm pretty open about it as long as my ping is low.
INIZ has servers in New York, 256MB for $27/yr might suit you.

Was not getting at you, rather the scroats that dive in with "look at my offers" before It's understood what is needed.
Ramnode offer NYC and BuyVM have servers in NJ. I don't have a VPS with BuyVM but I get 83ms from an NJ box to the UK
Hm, seems like BuyVM routes through level3 while Ramnode goes through Cogent.
Both sit around 98 ms. Which one sucks less for media consumption?
The difference should be fairly negligible. Generally speaking, congestion comes and goes from providers over time.
After doing some more testing using Vultr, DO, Softlayer & Azure. Out of all, DO's NYC2 is leading with 88 ms. o:
Vultr NJ/NY -> London - 70ms
Vultr NJ/NY -> Paris - 80ms
Vultr NJ/NY -> Amsterdam - 89ms
Vultr NJ/NY -> Frankfurt - 83ms
SecureDragon has servers in Tampa, FL and Weehawken, NJ.
Use the Looking glass page @ http://drgn.biz/ to test the connection to your location.
I've used a Tampa VPS for a long time and I'm happy with the speeds.
Also Crissic has servers in FL that could meat your requirements.
You're right behind DO with about 98ms to Denmark.
Secure dragon NJ comes in at 103 ms. I know I'm being a bit greedy with the numbers here, but with such a large selection at hand, I find it interesting testing the routes and comparing various providers.
I'll most likely go with ramnode since they have a great yearly plan and come in at 98 ms as well.
Is this for gaming or watching US movies?
If its for watching movies then the ping is not that important, more important is the speed you get to/from the VPS.
We got stable networks with kinda a low ping http://prntscr.com/5h5q9q
Check our network out, we have a low-latency network here in the UK.
You can also try our services for free for 1 month.

I wouldn't rely on ping too much. My ping across the pond randomly changes to random destinations on the other side.
Mine stays from 85ms - 156ms but its stable
Check out RunAbove...They got a datacenter in Europe..with low latency...!!!
Good job on reading the location request.

We can offer you for $25/year VZ1.
TEST IP : 37.187.249.186
I could understand offers based in Europe before I started it had to be in the US.
But I'm amazed how some people can run a hosting "company" and not know how to read. Has copy pasta tutorials really gotten this out of hand?
