Experience with KnotDNS

Hello,

So basically I was looking for some "new" auth. dns server which could actually handle a lot of dns requests and then I came across KnotDNS (Here) .
Does anyone have experience with that ? If yes, can you actually tell if it's stable ?
Do you recommend it as an alternative to bind or powerdns (as authoritative server) ?

Thanks :)

  • Kloxo-MR 7 use bind, djbdns, nsd, mydns and powerdns. My favorite is nsd.

I am using knot-dns (CZ.NIC) since more than 3 years. It is perfect :-) There is also YADIFA (EU.NIC), but configuration was way to complicated for me.

  • Sorry, Kloxo-MR also include yadifa.
