QuadIX - Quick almost one month review
I took advantage of their "2 CPU Xeon X5650" for $47.95.
I ordered a single unit, with an additional 1TB HDD & /29. The machine was ordered on the 24th & available on the 29th of October (there was a weekend in between). The machine was setup to spec, but only included two IPs. The missing IPs were sorted out (very) quickly by support, and over the weekend I might add. DRAC works as expected, if not a little slow due to me being half a world away.
So far very happy.

But you should have 2x1TB isn't it?

So little numbers.
I've only provisioned a small root partition, the rest of the disk is unallocated.
It's low yep, but seems consistent with other boxes I have with spinning rust running software raid.
Hmm HDD benchmark is quite low for that server.
Can you point me at a comparable benchmark?
