Virtualizor?
Has any provider here used Virtualizor by Softaculous(http://www.virtualizor.com/) before? I remember seeing it when it was first released and didn't think much of it, but I just checked it out again, and it actually looks pretty good now. It works almost identical to Solus based on the demo, and I am actually quite interested as their price are pretty reasonable. So, any provider here used Virtualizor before and how does it stack up against Solus?

It actually got updated to support vSwap today.
Well, to be honest we tried it when we were selecting "THE" control panel of choice for MyRSK - however, like most hosts - we preferred Solus.
They seem to be very competitive, I even got an email that they released an update today, which had many improvements and bug fixes.
It is a good piece of software, and supports openvz, xen, and kvm. They even offer good support in tickets/email.
My advice, try several panels and choose the one you and your future clients will find easy to use.
vSwap still isn't stable in the kernel, so a non-issue, but what about tun/tap and pptp
Not as far as I know:
Hi, The Virtualizor Team has released Virtualizor 2.1.6 This version has some cool new features and also some bug fixes. Below is a list of changes: 1) The Admin Index has been refurbished to give a better overview of the Resources and Current Usage. 2) Added a Manage Server module where an Admin can see the free resources, allocated resources, change settings, etc of a particular NODE. 3) Added the Reboot Option in the Manage Server module to reboot a Node. 4) The List Virtual Server page has been improved. It will load much faster then previously and sports a new look. 5) Added the feature to cache the Available Resources of a particular NODE. Hence the Available Ram and Disk Space will be available in the API. 6) On a Xen Node, only the Domain-0 Ram usage was shown. We have now modified it to show the Ram Utilization of all – VMs and Domain-0 7) Added code for better debugging. 8 ) Added support for VSwap in OpenVZ. 9) The Admin UI has been improved and it will load faster. 10) Netfront is now the default in Xen. 11) Added a feature where the Admin will get emails if the Load is high or Disk usage exceeds a LIMIT set by the Admin. 12) OS Templates will now download in the background so that the download is completed without any interruption. 13) Bug Fix: KVM VNC password when changed wasnt coming into effect. This is now fixed. 14) Bug Fix: The List IPs page showed the IPs in a random manner. This is now changed and will be ordered as per the IP Pool. 15) Bug Fix: In OpenVZ space of a VPS was not allowed to be reduced while editing. This is now fixed. 16) Bug Fix: The Site Name setting converted values to HTML entities while saving. This caused Emails to have the wrong Site Name. This is now fixed. 17) Bug Fix: During VPS Delete, the Slave server wasnt synching with the master for the updated list of VPS. This is now fixed. Virtualizor supports OpenVZ, Xen and Linux-KVM and they all can be managed from the Master. We are adding more features and if you have any suggestions, do let us know. We hope you enjoy this version of Virtualizor. Regards, The Virtualizor Team Softaculous - http://www.softaculous.com Virtualizor - http://www.virtualizor.com AMPPS - http://www.ampps.com Webuzo - http://www.webuzo.comI think I'll update and take a peek at how it is.. I really doubt they have added tun/tap and pptp support.
Actually my bad, they do have Tun/Tap support for OVZ already, I think it was there in the old version too but no PPTP support yet.
They seem to have TUN/TAP as well, http://demo.virtualizor.com:4084/index.php?act=editvs&vpsid=1 (Advance Option).
@liam yep.
virtualizor has decent performances, but there's too much bug until last version. and don't expect you'll get great support.
Have you not checked out the new version?
nope.. last time after updating to 2.1.5 version, it force me to reboot the entire server because libvirt daemon wont start anymore.
We gave up on Virtualizor and moved to Solus. Softaculous wouldn't respond to our support requests, our feature requests, or to posts on their forum. We're paying them a license fee for software that runs our business, you'd think they would have cared more.
What's interesting is that we cancelled our Virtualizor license in March or April or somewhere in there, yet, it's still updating and it's still functional... I guess it's free once you sign up. So sign up and get free Virtualizor! Still wouldn't use it if it were free...
I'm working on our own panel, and Solus is meeting our needs til then. Regarding Virtualizor: better don't!
Here are some of my rants about it:

and there are some other posts in other people's threads, too. I can find them, if you're interested in them.
Never actually used it but their website really doesn't "sell" it to me at all. Looks terrible.
Is there any WHMCS support
http://www.virtualizor.com/wiki/WHMCS_Module
but totally rubbish. too many error etc.
I've never used it so wouldn't know, so do you provision orders manually?
mmm not really, when i accept the order the VPS provisioned correctly, but a couple of feature there gave an error messages (from admin and/or client side).
Better don't!
