Hello everyone,

i have a domain name. I have a VPS from BuyVM. So how can i connect both? so i can type the domain name instead of the IP everytime?

I know how to edit the dns in my domain control panel but i don't know how to create them on my VPS..

Thanks :)

  • You don't need to edit anything on the VPS, just on the domain control panel.
In technical terms u need to setup an A-record to your VPSs IP.

  • Once the Domain name A-record points to the VPS, just stop using the IP and use the domain name instead. The VPS will take it from there.
