Supermicro IPMI issue
Alright, Got a bad situation here,
My servers are running fine, forgot/lost my ipmi password, Tried to reset like always using supermicro ipmicfg tool and hell broke loose.
After resetting and re-assigning ip, Ipmi no longer works. What do you I mean by that? simple, Ipmi Browser based GUI no longer works. Any idea? Any help?
Note: It is saturday so No Remote hand.

Yes I can SSH In to the Box.

Well, when you say reset, you issued the following? I assume you are usign the utility from ftp://ftp.supermicro.com/utility/IPMICFG/Linux
ipmicfg -fd
ipmicfg -dhcp off
ipmicfg -m starticIP
ipmicfg -k netmask
ipmicfg -g gaetway
if you do that, is it all snafu still?

So what is the issue? You can't login via the web interface? You tried ipmicfg -r to power cycle ipmi?
Failed to perform BMC cold reset!
I've been seeing that on a dual g34 board recently, you can login then it sits and spins and nothing works but pulling the power cord. Figure it's gone on to greener pastures
I have done multiple softreboots via ssh and Reboot via KVM.

One server is having ipmi Bmc missing error. 4 servers with 4 funny ipmi issue on a saturday afternoon. Lol. Bad IPMI day.
