This offer is so tempting, is it possible to upgrade to this plan or would a new service be required?
This plan is really... SMALL
Fast :P, on the UK link i can get 9MB/S at home
Yep, You can upgrade to this plan, Just submit a ticket if you require some assistance upgrading.
I have a 26ms ping to this from home(30 Minutes away), Not a bad mix of bandwidth but it ain't no Level 3. :-)
I live about 30 mins away too , Looks like VM peers directly with them ping is higher tho.

Yeh
Yep, there's 2, One called LINIX, the other is called AIMES, NTL have a datacenter in knowsley too.
Got only 3MB/s from home.. But counting I am 2000-3000 miles away.. Its quite good. Is it at Burstnet? Colo'd, rented?
Back on topic guys, Let's not derail another thread like 99.99% of the threads today.
We colocate at BurstNET, TeleCity Datacenter.
Thought they where based at Melbourne?
Is it UK location/node IPv6 ready?
>
Yep, got IPv6 on mine.
[node 1]
I grabbed an EaseVPS box a couple months back. Fast and stable in Manchester.
Support has been prompt when requesting RDNS changes.
Would recommend
BurstNET/Melbourne are in the same building afaik
We are in the Synergy House, See here. http://www.telecitygroup.com/colocation-data-centre-manchester.htm
The Williams and Kilburn house is on the same complex.
Not sure about Melbourne, Judging from the prices I wouldn't say they are in the same building.
UK1 has a he.net tunnel routed through currently, I have already recieved the Native IPv6 assignment for UK1(I will get it done shortly, Just keep mithering me), I will need to get a block routed for UK2 though.
I think I will do just that (:
Really tempted to upgrade from my $4 starter, I use my node mainly for storage and backups from other places. Great network. Not had any reason to use the support.
Hmm.. yeah.. why not :P
That is not our way.
@Jacob
Are you related to EzyByte Limited?
@DanielM Yeah, EzyByte is a registered company in the UK under my partners name Arin Ghosh, This was because at the time we had 3 or so divisions and needed a main brand, Ezydedi.com, Ezyvpn.com, Easevps.com
Got mine today, things seem very good till now - VPS is in the UK :

And for future reference the uptime:

Would you consider adding Debian 6 to your OS choices?
Debian 6 is available in SolusVM. I had the same question. Just order with Debian 5 for example and reinstall with Debian 6 in the control panel.
Yep, @tmn29a beat me to it! It's good to see customers helping other customers. :-)
Thanks, Much Appreciated!
@Jacob
No problem
Testing from a VPS on node UK2
IOPings are kinda bad
100mbps port, with good network speeds. dd results could be better, but are not bad.
Overall, the VPS works good for what I bought it for. (minecraft server) There is very little can't keep up errors in the console.
@dmmcintyre3 Both UK nodes now are full, We will only be releasing RAID 10 Servers from now on, But using hitachi drives instead of seagate,
